Travel and Tourism

Breakfast at the Fassla brewery’s hotel was dark bread, cheese, sausages, soft boiled eggs, juices and coffee. Afterwards we walked about 10 minutes to the old town section across the river and found a small hat store by the river. I found a typical green Bavarian hat for 30 Euros and got a 2.50 Euro feather for it. The old man there even steamed the hat for me.

I had seen a few older Germans around town wearing such hats, which they wore completely unadorned for everyday use.
I got a goat beard brush for it later for 18 Euros to wear at festivals. We got back to the hotel in time to join our group for the 15 minute walk east over to Mahrs Brewery, next door to which there was a window display that looked like me.
Next: Day 3. More breweries. We CAN do it!
